We invite applications for the following position to be based in Jebel Ali, Dubai 1. We are looking for an experienced maintenance technician, with 3 5 years of similar work experience, preferably in a similar / related industry. The responsibilities will include overall maintenance and servicing of all equipments like centrifugal and pneumatic pumps, pump alignment, various types of valves, safety valves, in a manner that these are used effectively and down time is minimized keeping an eye on the maintenance costs. 2. Maintain adequate inventory of spares for proper maintenance of the equipments. 3. Prepare maintenance schedule and carry out preventive maintenance in order to monitor proper running of the equipments. 4. Liaise with outside agencies for equipments that are under annual maintenance contract. 5. Prepare a log for failure of equipments and analyze the failures so that these can be avoided in future. 6. Calibrate, maintain and pressure test all marine hoses and keep records The ideal candidate will be aged between 25 -30 yrs, with ITI mechanical qualifications, having excellent communication skills and preferably residing in Dubai. Candidates having welding certificates will have an advantage. Remuneration package will commensurate with experience.
